About the Role
We are looking for a hands‑on Tech Lead / Delivery Manager who brings deep technical expertise along with end‑to‑end ownership of product delivery. This role requires someone who can design, build, review, and deliver complex product modules, while also leading engineers and managing execution in a fast‑moving, high‑ownership environment. You will be responsible for multiple large, business‑critical modules, ensuring quality, scalability, and timelines, while adapting quickly to changing requirements. This is not a pure people‑management role—you will be expected to lead from the front and contribute as an Individual Contributor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership & Delivery
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of large, critical product modules—from requirement understanding to production deployment and post‑release stability.
• Lead technical design, architecture discussions, and implementation for scalable backend and frontend systems.
• Ensure high‑quality code, system reliability, performance, and security across services.
• Take full accountability for development velocity, quality benchmarks, and delivery commitments.
2.Stakeholder & Requirement Management
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and leadership to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans.
• Break down complex requirements into well‑defined tasks, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs, and communicate them effectively.
3. Team Leadership & Execution
• Lead, mentor, and review work of front‑end and back‑end engineers across multiple modules and possibly distributed teams.
• Plan and prioritize work across sprints while managing multiple parallel workstreams.
• Step in as an IC during critical delivery phases or complex problem areas.
4. DevOps & Release Management
• Drive CI/CD implementation and improvements using Microsoft DevOps.
• Ensure smooth, reliable deployments and strong rollback/monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps/Infra teams on hosting, scalability, and operational readiness.
5. Data & Performance Focus
• Design and build data‑intensive APIs, analytics workflows, and performance‑optimized services.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Ensure efficient usage of Redis and in‑memory data stores.
• Continuously improve system performance and observability.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Stack
• Backend: Node.js (Express), Python (FastAPI), RESTful APIs
• Frontend: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Databases: PostgreSQL / MySQL, Redis
• ORMs: Strong experience with ORMs and query optimizations
• Search / Observability (Good to have): Elasticsearch, GoLang , Kafka
2.Architecture & Engineering
• Strong understanding of scalable system design, modular architecture, and API design.
• Experience handling large, complex codebases and business‑critical systems.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, and maintainability.
3.DevOps
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft DevOps for:
o Code repositories o CI/CD pipelines
o Build and release automation
• Understanding of production deployments, monitoring, and incident response.
Required Soft Skills
• Proven ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands‑on.
• Strong ownership mindset with end‑to‑end accountability.
• Excellent communication skills to align engineering execution with business goals.
• Comfortable working with distributed teams across locations and time zones.
• Strong planning and execution skills for on‑time delivery of multiple modules.
• Proactive problem solver with a go‑getter mentality.
• Leads by example on coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks.
