Workday Extend / Orchestration Tech Lead
India (Remote/Hybrid)
We are looking for a Workday Extend Tech Lead who can take ownership of building scalable applications and drive end-to-end development within a growing Workday ecosystem.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with stakeholders, design solutions, and mentor a team while building impactful Workday Extend applications.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build Workday Extend applications from scratch
- Work on Orchestrations, APIs, and custom business processes
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle (design → build → deploy → support)
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Mentor junior developers and guide best practices
- Contribute to architecture decisions and solution design
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Extend development
Strong expertise in:
- Orchestrations
- APIs (REST/SOAP)
- PMD, Model Components, Scripting
- Custom Business Processes
- Good understanding of Workday Security models
- Experience in leading or mentoring small teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Workday Extend Certification
- Workday Orchestration Certification
