Role Overview
NST Cyber is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of a cloud-native Agentic AI platform. The role requires strong technical depth across backend engineering, frontend technologies, AWS, Kubernetes, distributed systems, AI agents, data platforms, and DevOps.
The candidate will lead a team of 10-12 engineers while remaining actively involved in architecture, design reviews, critical implementation, troubleshooting, and engineering governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical roadmap of the Agentic AI platform.
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-12 engineers.
- Design scalable, secure, multi-tenant, cloud-native services.
- Build backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Guide frontend development using Next.js, TypeScript, and AngularJS.
- Design and operate workloads on AWS using EKS, Karpenter, ECS, and Fargate.
- Build agent workflows using LangGraph and ReAct patterns.
- Implement agent orchestration, tool execution, memory, RAG, HITL, and guardrails.
- Design integrations with MongoDB, graph databases, Qdrant, and Apache Kafka.
- Establish engineering standards for APIs, events, testing, observability, security, and deployment.
- Work closely with DevOps, SRE, product, and security teams.
- Ensure platform auditability, cost controls, telemetry, reliability, and production readiness.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI
- Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, and AngularJS
- Strong AWS experience, including:
- Amazon EKS
- Karpenter
- Amazon ECS
- AWS Fargate
- IAM, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, autoscaling, and containerised workloads
- Experience with Agentic AI platforms
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph
- Good understanding of Reasoning and Acting (ReAct) patterns
- Experience with LLM integration, tool calling, agent memory, RAG, and HITL workflows
- Experience with execution guardrails, such as NeMo Guardrails
- Experience with OpenLLMetry and OpenTelemetry
- Strong experience with MongoDB
- Experience with graph databases and vector databases, such as Qdrant
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems
- Good understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, security, and production operations

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience building cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Experience with AI, cybersecurity, automation, or agent-based platforms
- Experience leading production systems with strong auditability and security requirements

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer
- MongoDB certification
- AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or LLM-related certification
