Job Summary:
Technical Illustrator with 5 to 7 years of experience.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work closely with other team members, project managers, engineers, authors, designers, and customers to understand requirements, deadlines, content, and quality expectations.
• Use a variety of software tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw etc) to create illustrations and graphics used in documentation.
• Create 2D & 3D models and animations using CATIA V5 or other similar tools as required by the project.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain records of work performed on each project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience with technical writing/illustration and computer applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Corel Draw, IsoDraw, Catia and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined individual who can effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy.
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Ability to operate office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft structures, systems, and components is desirable but not required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required by project.
