Avinya is developing plant-based leather from agricultural waste for applications across fashion, footwear, handbags, automotive, and more.
We are looking for a Technical Head to lead our R&D and material development.
The role involves taking customer requirements → formulation → testing → optimization → scale-up → consistent production.
We are looking for a hands-on professional with experience in:
- Polymer / Materials / Chemical Engineering / Leather Technology / Biomaterials
- Formulation development, PU, binders, resins, coatings, adhesives & additives
- Material testing and performance optimization
- Process development and troubleshooting
- Lab-to-pilot/commercial scale-up
Direct leather or vegan-leather experience is not mandatory. Strong candidates from polymer, materials, PU, coatings, biomaterials, or related industrial R&D backgrounds are welcome.
📍 Location: Bhavnagar, Gujarat
💼 Experience: 5+ years preferred
💰 Salary: Competitive, based on experience and suitability
