Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Hardware Support - L1 Technician located in Bengaluru. The role involves providing first-level support for hardware-related issues, assisting with troubleshooting, diagnosing technical hardware problems, and escalating complex issues as needed. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining hardware systems, addressing infrastructure-related concerns, and ensuring seamless hardware functionality for end users.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Understanding of networking basics and ability to identify hardware-related network connectivity problems
- Experience in system setup, configuration, and general hardware maintenance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist users effectively
- Ability to document issues and follow support tickets through resolution
- Knowledge of working with hardware and software diagnostic and repair tools
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools is an added advantage
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant technical field
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in hardware technical support or similar roles preferred
