Role Description
Path-iQ is seeking a Technical Founder to join our team in a full-time remote role. In this position, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of our advanced technology solutions tailored for pathology workflows. You will make key technical decisions, drive hands-on coding and architecture design, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure our products meet clinical and business needs. Additionally, you will contribute to building and shaping a scalable, mission-driven engineering team to support Path-iQ’s growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in software engineering, cloud architecture, and scaling distributed systems
- Experience in AI/ML model training, deployment, and integration with healthcare workflows
- Background in data governance, data security, and compliance in healthcare or relevant fields
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to lead and scale technical teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and aptitude for building innovative solutions
- Familiarity with pathology, medical imaging, or healthcare technology is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
