🚀 We’re Hiring: Atlassian Platform Engineer (Jira & Confluence Data Center | AWS)

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Platform Engineer to manage and scale enterprise-grade Jira & Confluence Data Center environments hosted on AWS.

If you have strong expertise in Atlassian administration, cloud infrastructure, and identity integrations, this role is for you!

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira & Confluence Data Center (multi-node environments)
• Perform upgrades, patching, and plugin lifecycle management
• Design workflows, fields, and permission schemes
• Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, Load Balancers, VPCs, Security Groups)
• Troubleshoot cluster issues, analyze logs, and ensure platform stability
• Configure and support LDAP, Crowd, and SSO (SAML/OAuth) integrations
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Monitor system performance, optimize JVM, and handle alerting (Icinga or similar)
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
• Ensure security, compliance, and vulnerability management
• Contribute to Atlassian Cloud migration readiness and planning

🧠 Required Skills

• Strong experience with Jira & Confluence Data Center administration
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure management
• Expertise in Crowd, LDAP, and SSO integrations
• Solid experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of security and compliance practices

➕ Good to Have

• Scripting experience (Bash / PowerShell)
• Exposure to Atlassian Cloud migrations
