Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Executive – Medical Equipment to handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced medical devices. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance of equipment while maintaining compliance with healthcare and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
- Diagnose technical faults and carry out timely repairs of high-end medical devices
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support to clients
- Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for spare parts, upgrades, and technical support
- Maintain service records, logs, and documentation for all equipment handled
- Train healthcare staff on proper usage, handling, and basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, biomedical regulations, and company SOPs
- Support audits, calibration processes, and equipment validation activities
- Manage AMC/CMC contracts and ensure timely service delivery
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, imaging devices, or diagnostic systems
- Hands-on experience in installation, servicing, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of biomedical standards and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and schematics
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and client-handling abilities
- Willingness to travel locally for service visits
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Experience working with hospitals, diagnostic centers, or medical equipment companies
