Role Description The Technical Engineer – Malappuram is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and solar systems. The role involves conducting site visits, performing technical assessments, preparing installation plans, and coordinating with the project and sales teams to ensure smooth execution. The Technical Engineer will troubleshoot system issues, provide technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety standards and relevant regulations. Daily activities include documentation of work, updating project status, assisting with product selection and technical proposals, and collaborating with the Experience Centre and e-commerce teams to ensure accurate technical information for offerings in the Malappuram region.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, with practical experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess skills in solar technology, including understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, wiring standards, and basic design principles for residential and commercial installations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using diagnostic tools, reading technical drawings and schematics, and preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to explain technical concepts clearly, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and address client queries on-site.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and time management abilities, with a focus on safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in solar installation, electrical contracting, or technical service roles will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Malappuram, conduct field visits, and travel within the region as required.
