Job Title: Level 2 Problem Manager
Years of Experience: 5+ years
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Level 2 Problem Manager with over 5 years of experience in IT service management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices, with a proven track record in problem management. This role is critical in ensuring the stability and reliability of IT services by identifying and resolving underlying issues, minimizing the impact of incidents, and preventing future occurrences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the problem management process, ensuring that all problems are logged, prioritized, and managed effectively.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for incidents and problems, collaborating with technical teams to identify solutions.
- Facilitate problem review meetings and ensure that action items are tracked and completed in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain problem management documentation, including known error records and workarounds.
- Monitor and report on problem management metrics, providing insights to improve service delivery.
- Work closely with incident management and change management teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide training and support to junior team members and stakeholders on problem management processes.
- Continuously improve problem management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework, particularly in problem management.
- Proven experience in leading problem management initiatives in a complex IT environment.
