TECHNICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Position Summary
Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and innovative Technical Design Engineer responsible for design development, engineering calculations, manufacturing drawings, technical coordination, and optimization of industrial special-purpose engineering systems. The role involves close coordination with production and project execution teams to ensure efficient and manufacturable designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design Engineering
○ Structural support systems
○ Special components
○ Application-based engineering systems
- Prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Develop optimized and manufacturable design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
- Should be capable at conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Technical Activities
- Perform engineering and load calculations.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Prepare technical specifications and design reports.
- Coordinate prototype development and testing activities.
Production Coordination
- Support the production team in resolving fabrication and manufacturing issues.
- Modify and optimize drawings based on manufacturing feasibility and site requirements.
- Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
Site Coordination
- Review site measurements and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with project execution and installation teams.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities when required.
Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- Inventor
- Tekla (Preferred)
Qualification
- BE in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering
Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design, or special-purpose engineering systems.
Skills Required
- Structural design and analysis
- Fabrication and sheet metal design
- Load calculations and engineering analysis
- BOM preparation and technical documentation
- Manufacturing drawing development
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
