Technical Delivery Manager - Own End-to-End Delivery for a Techdome Product

What You'll Actually Do:
You will own end-to-end delivery for one of Techdome's products. Your job is to make the team ship faster, cleaner, and with the operational discipline a client-facing product demands.
You are not a Jira admin. You are not a ceremonies-runner. You are the person the CTO trusts to walk into a sprint review and tell us, with technical credibility, what's actually going on and what we should do about it.
The Mandate:
1. Run delivery as the Techdome lead on the product. Own the sprint engine, release cadence, scope discipline, code review SLAs, QA gates, and production deploys. You will work inside our existing operations stack - Jira, GitHub, Notion as the strategy spine - and the Techdome Blueprint that governs how we plan, engineer, deliver and operate.
2. Bring an engineer's eye to delivery decisions. You've been a developer or tech lead. You can read a PR, smell a bad architecture call, push back on an overengineered solution, and know when a "2-day estimate" is really a 5-day rabbit hole. That instinct is the entire reason this role exists.
3. Modernize agile for the AI era. Our engineers use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot daily. Requirement gathering, estimation, scope, code review, QA - all of it changes when AI is in the loop. You will rebuild our process to take advantage of this, not pretend it isn't happening.
4. Build and lead the team underneath you. Restructure the existing PM/BA/QA layer and hire to fill gaps - - Business Analysts, Product Managers, Scrum Masters as needed. You will be measured on the team you build as much as the product you ship.
5. Own client-facing delivery comms. You will run weekly client syncs, status reports, escalations, and roadmap conversations directly with clients. Expect a few late-evening calls each week for timezone overlap.
6. Set up the operational layer the product needs to scale.
- Support inbox and SLA tracking
- Feature request intake and triage from clients
- Client onboarding workflows
- CRM (GHL preferred, but pick the right tool) for the GTM and support motion
- Incident response and post-mortem discipline
7. Partner with design and stakeholders to frame solutions. You sit in on discovery, you challenge requirements, you push the team to design for the actual user problem - not the first feature ask that lands in your inbox.
What We're Looking For
Non-negotiable:
7+ years total, with a real engineering or tech lead chapter in your past - you have written production code, led a team, and earned the right to call BS on engineering excuses.
Proven delivery management on a software product with a real customer base - not just internal IT projects.
Direct people management experience. You've hired, performance-managed, restructured.
Strong Jira + GitHub operating fluency. You don't need a hand-holder.
Comfort owning client-facing comms, including occasional night calls for timezone overlap.
Strongly preferred:
B2B SaaS background.
You've operated inside an AI-augmented engineering team and have opinions on how it changes delivery.
Welcome but not required:
Exposure to healthcare or other regulated domains. Helpful context, not an entry barrier.
We don't care about:
Certifications. CSM, SAFe, PMP - irrelevant. Show us the products you've shipped and the teams you've built.
