Role Description:
This role focuses on CAD-based drafting, preparation of interior working drawings, quantity
derivation, and coordination with design and execution teams. The position is critical in
translating concepts into accurate, executable drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and modify interior working drawings (layouts, joinery, electrical, plumbing)
• Convert design concepts into execution-ready drawings
• Derive accurate quantities (BOQ / take-offs)
• Update drawings based on site inputs and revisions
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Support site visits for measurements and validation
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings and files
Success Metrics:
• Accuracy of drawings (minimal site errors)
• Turnaround time for revisions
• BOQ accuracy vs actual execution
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Coordination efficiency with stakeholders
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) for interior drafting.
• Ability to read drawings and extract quantities accurately.
• Basic understanding of BIM concepts and workflows.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and understanding of interior execution drawings.
Preferred Skills:
• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
• Experience in residential/commercial interiors
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp/Photoshop
• Awareness of BIM workflows
• Strong coordination and communication skills
Work Environment:
This role involves frequent coordination with execution teams and may require handling
multiple revisions under tight timelines. Occasional site visits are expected.
