About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, technically accurate content that supports our data-driven initiatives. Your primary focus will be analyzing datasets, particularly those in JSON format, to extract meaningful business insights and translating complex technical findings into well-structured documentation, notebooks, and other technical artifacts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with public datasets, scripting in Python, and a strong aptitude for technical communication.
This position involves collaborating closely with researchers and stakeholders to understand their needs, interpret data, and craft narratives that are accessible yet precise. Your outputs will serve as essential references for internal teams and external clients, enabling better decision-making and fostering transparency in data exploration processes. Attention to detail, clarity in communication, and the ability to explain technical reasoning succinctly are vital skills for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience as a technical content writer, data analyst, or software developer.
- Proven ability to produce clear, accurate, and structured technical documentation and content.
- Experience working with data formats like JSON and interpreting datasets to derive insights.
- Working knowledge of Python for data exploration, validation, and scripting support.
- Familiarity with notebooks (such as Jupyter) and scripting workflows to facilitate analysis and documentation.
- Understanding of code quality, formatting, and documentation best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw business-relevant conclusions from data.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including reports, notebooks, and guides that clearly explain data analysis processes and findings.
- Analyze public datasets, primarily in JSON format, to extract actionable business insights and answer key analytical questions.
- Explain reasoning, logic, and methodologies in well-structured notebooks or other documentation formats to facilitate understanding and reproducibility.
- Utilize Python scripting to support data exploration, validation, and analysis tasks as needed, ensuring reproducibility and accuracy of outputs.
- Ensure all documentation is traceable, with clear descriptions of methods, assumptions, and data sources.
- Collaborate effectively with researchers, data scientists, and stakeholders to refine insights, validate findings, and enhance deliverables.
- Maintain high standards of output quality, ensuring clarity, precision, and professionalism in all written content.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in data analysis, technical writing, and AI research to continuously improve documentation practices.
