Experience: 10+ years in ServiceNow (Minimum 2+ years as Architect)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Architect with deep expertise in CMDB, CSDM governance, ITOM, and ServiceNow Assist (Now Assist / AI capabilities).
The ideal candidate must be a CSDM Subject Matter Expert, capable of designing enterprise-grade service models, governing CMDB health, and driving ITOM transformation programs aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
This role requires strong enterprise architecture experience, platform governance capabilities, and hands-on technical depth.
Core Responsibilities
1️⃣ ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture
- Define end-to-end ServiceNow architecture aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
- Establish architectural governance, standards, and best practices.
- Lead platform scalability, upgrade safety, and performance optimization.
- Provide architectural review and sign-off for complex implementations.
2️⃣ CSDM & CMDB Leadership (Mandatory Expertise)
- Act as CSDM Subject Matter Expert across the organization.
- Architect and implement ServiceNow CMDB aligned with the latest CSDM framework.
- Define and govern:
- Business Services
- Technical Services
- Application Services
- Service Offerings
- CI class hierarchy & relationships
- Design and maintain Identification & Reconciliation rules.
- Establish CMDB governance model, ownership structure, and data quality KPIs.
- Implement CMDB Health Dashboards and continuous improvement plans.
- Enable impact analysis, dependency mapping, and service mapping accuracy.
3️⃣ ITOM Architecture & Strategy
Lead enterprise implementation of:
- ServiceNow Discovery (On-prem & Cloud)
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- Cloud Discovery & Cloud Management
- Operational Intelligence / AIOps
Responsibilities include:
- Event correlation & alert reduction strategy
- Monitoring tool integrations (SolarWinds, Dynatrace, SCOM, etc.)
- MID Server architecture & scaling
- Proactive operations enablement
- Automated remediation design
4️⃣ ServiceNow Assist (Now Assist / AI)
- Architect and implement ServiceNow Assist capabilities.
- Enable AI-driven:
- Incident & case summarization
- Knowledge article generation
- Virtual Agent enhancements
- Predictive Intelligence
- Establish AI governance and responsible AI practices.
- Drive automation-first strategy leveraging AI & ML features.
5️⃣ Integration & Technical Governance
- Design secure integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub & MID Servers.
- Define API governance standards.
- Lead instance architecture (single vs multi-instance strategy).
- Manage upgrade strategy & release governance.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of ServiceNow hands-on experience.
- Minimum 3+ years in Architect role.
- Deep expertise in:
- CSDM framework (latest version)
- CMDB architecture & governance
- ITOM suite (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Mgmt)
- ServiceNow Assist / AI capabilities
- Strong ITIL process understanding.
- Experience with enterprise-scale implementations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
