About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Business Development professional to drive growth for electrical maintenance and service solutions across industrial and commercial sectors.
This role is ideal for candidates who combine electrical engineering knowledge with strong client-facing and sales capabilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities, securing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), handling technical tenders, and building long-term client relationships.
If you have experience working with industrial clients, electrical maintenance services, or technical sales—and understand how to convert technical discussions into business opportunities—this role offers strong growth potential and exposure to large-scale industrial projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial plants, factories, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects.
- Promote electrical maintenance services including preventive maintenance, shutdown support, breakdown services, and AMCs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with plant heads, facility managers, consultants, and procurement teams.
Tendering & Proposal Management
- Track relevant government and private sector tenders related to electrical maintenance and services.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams for costing, estimation, and proposal preparation.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids while ensuring compliance with tender requirements.
Technical Sales & Consultation
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand maintenance requirements.
- Present technical solutions and service offerings to industrial clients.
- Support contract negotiations and business closure activities.
Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing clients.
- Ensure smooth project coordination, customer satisfaction, and AMC renewals.
- Maintain long-term client relationships to generate repeat business opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of HT/LT electrical systems and maintenance services.
- Familiarity with Transformers, PCC/MCC Panels, Switchgears, ACB/VCB/MCCB breakers, and industrial electrical infrastructure.
- Experience in technical tendering, estimation, and proposal preparation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to independently manage client meetings and business development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, business development, AMC sales, or industrial service solutions.
- Experience in Electrical Contracting, Industrial Automation, Facility Management, or Power Distribution industries preferred.
