Technical Business Analyst – Syndigo Implementation
Experience: 6-9 Years

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in Syndigo implementation to join our team. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of business, product data, and technology delivery, collaborating with stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to successfully implement and enhance the Syndigo platform.
The candidate should have prior hands-on experience working on Syndigo implementation projects and a strong understanding of Product Information Management (PIM), product taxonomy, data models, workflows, and integrations within retail or eCommerce environments.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Functional Analysis
* Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders including merchandising, marketing, and eCommerce teams
* Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
* Create and maintain:
* User stories
* Process workflows
* Functional documentation
* Acceptance criteria
* Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle
Syndigo Implementation & Support
* Work on end-to-end Syndigo implementation and enhancement projects
* Configure and support:
* Product data models
* Product taxonomy and hierarchy
* Attributes and metadata
* Content workflows and approval processes
* Coordinate with Syndigo SMEs, implementation partners, and internal technical teams
* Support troubleshooting, optimization, and platform enhancements
Data & Integration Analysis
* Analyze product data sources including ERP systems, supplier feeds, and eCommerce platforms
* Define:
* Data mapping rules
* Transformation logic
* Validation requirements
* Data quality standards
* Support integrations between Syndigo and platforms such as:
* Shopify
* BigCommerce
* ERP systems
* Other downstream applications
* Work closely with integration and engineering teams to ensure seamless data flow
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 6–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
* Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Syndigo implementation
* Strong understanding of Product Information Management (PIM)
* Experience with:
* Product taxonomy
* Product hierarchy
* Product data modeling
* Attributes and metadata management
* Strong experience in retail or eCommerce domain
* Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
* Experience working with eCommerce platform integrations
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Shopify or BigCommerce integrations
* Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations
* Knowledge of ERP systems and supplier onboarding workflows
* Experience with other PIM platforms is an added advantage
