Role Description
We are looking for a Technical Architect cum Lead Developer with strong hands-on engineering experience to design, build, and scale a cloud-native gaming platform. This role requires a hands-on architect who actively codes, reviews, mentors engineers, and drives platform architecture across Rust backend systems, modern frontend frameworks, distributed microservices, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing high-performance, low-latency systems capable of handling high concurrency workloads.
Key Responsibilities
System Architecture & Platform Design
- Own the end-to-end architecture for scalable cloud-native platforms.
- Design microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed services.
- Define API contracts, backend–frontend integration patterns, and data flows.
- Architect systems optimized for high concurrency, low latency, and reliability.
- Ensure architectural alignment with performance, security, scalability, and cost optimization.
Backend Development (Primary Focus)
Core Backend Skills
- Rust programming (async programming, memory safety, concurrency)
- Performance optimization and low-latency architecture
- RESTful API design
- Event-driven architectures
- Message queues and streaming systems
- Caching strategies (Redis, distributed caching)
- High-throughput backend services
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Node.js
- Java / Spring Boot
- Python
- Go
Database & Data Systems
- SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Data modeling and schema design
- Transactions, consistency models, and distributed data systems.
Frontend Architecture
- Define and guide frontend architecture standards.
- Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks:
- React.js
- Angular
- Vue.js
Experience with:
- Component-based architecture
- State management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
- API integrations and authentication flows
- Frontend performance optimization.
DevOps, Cloud & Infrastructure
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for backend and frontend applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Work with containerized environments and orchestration tools:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with auto-scaling, load balancing, and distributed deployments.
Security, Performance & Observability
- Implement secure API design, authentication, and IAM strategies.
- Apply OWASP security best practices.
- Build observability frameworks using:
- Logging
- Metrics
- Distributed tracing
- Lead performance tuning, system monitoring, and incident analysis.
Leadership & Technical Ownership
- Act as hands-on Technical Architect and Lead Developer.
- Lead architecture reviews and code reviews across backend and frontend teams.
- Mentor engineers across Rust, distributed systems, frontend frameworks, and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of software engineering experience.
- Rust backend development

- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Containerization and Kubernetes
Proven experience building production-grade scalable platforms
Preferred Experience
- Gaming platforms or real-time systems.
- Low-latency and high-concurrency architectures.
- Startup or high-growth product environment experience.
