Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Technical Architect for the AWS Platform, you will design and architect AWS-based solutions that align with specific business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will possess deep proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), along with expertise in Linux and VMware. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design and Implement AWS Solutions: Design and architect AWS-based solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. This includes setting up and configuring AWS EC2 instances, storage solutions, networking, and databases to support various business applications.
- Deploy and Manage AWS Resources: Deploy and manage essential AWS resources such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Elastic Load Balancers (ELBs), and Application Load Balancers (ALBs) to ensure smooth operations. Continuously monitor AWS resources, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations.
- Ensure Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to ensure AWS resources comply with organizational policies and industry regulations. Optimize AWS costs by right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective solutions, and monitoring usage patterns.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful deployment and integration of AWS-based solutions, utilizing DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Manage Kubernetes Clusters: Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters through Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), enabling container orchestration and scaling as part of the platform's capabilities.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Deep Proficiency in AWS Services: Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), along with expertise in Linux and VMware.
- Cloud Architecture and Design: Experience with designing and architecting AWS-based solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Cloud Migration and Deployment: Experience with cloud migration projects, including assessment, design, and execution, utilizing DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Cloud Security and Compliance: Experience with implementing and enforcing security measures to ensure AWS resources comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
- Container Orchestration: Experience with setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters through Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), enabling container orchestration and scaling as part of the platform's capabilities.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Automation Tools Expertise: Experience with automation tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform is beneficial for streamlining AWS resource deployment and management. Knowledge of these tools enables efficient infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Familiarity with optimizing AWS costs by right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective solutions, and monitoring usage patterns is advantageous. This skill helps in reducing operational expenses while maintaining high-performance levels.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is valuable for ensuring seamless deployment and integration of AWS-based solutions. This expertise facilitates collaboration with development teams and enhances overall efficiency.
