Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled .NET Architect with 12–16 years of experience in designing and developing scalable web applications using ASP.NET and C#. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in microservices architecture, modern development practices, and a deep understanding of software design principles.
Key/Core Responsibilities/What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework (4.6/4.6.1), and .NET Core Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability
- Work with messaging systems/service bus such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for building distributed systems
- Apply OOP principles, SOLID design principles, and design patterns in application development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality solutions
- Lead and contribute to software design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
- Work closely with US-based clients/stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and requirement understanding
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
Desired/Key Skills/What you’ll bring:
- Strong expertise in ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework (4.6/4.6.1), and .NET Core with the ability to build scalable enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience in microservices architecture and designing distributed systems
- Proficiency with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), SOLID principles, design patterns, and data structures & algorithms
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of software development best practices, coding standards, and system design
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver efficient, scalable solutions
- Strong experience in client interaction, preferably with US-based stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership
- A proactive mindset, ownership attitude, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Good to have skills:
- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Experience in Elastic Search, Kibana and Open Telemetry
