Job Overview
This role focuses on technical architecture, development, performance optimization, and infrastructure for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) / Finance & Supply Chain Management across multiple industry verticals.
The role ensures high-quality code, secure deployments, and compliance with US GAAP/IRS and Indian GST/TDS regulations in multi-region environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical design of D365 F&O customizations, extensions, and developments using X++, Power Platform, and extensibility frameworks
Define data models, performance strategies, and security architecture (roles, SoD, encryption)
Manage DevOps pipelines using LCS and Azure DevOps for CI/CD, testing, and deployments
Conduct code reviews, fit-gap analysis, and optimize performance for high-volume workloads
Design and troubleshoot integrations using OData, custom services, batch jobs, and Azure tools (Logic Apps, Functions)
Oversee data migration using Data Management Framework
Collaborate with functional teams and offshore resources for requirement gathering and delivery
Support pre-sales activities including proposals, estimates, and demos
Mentor junior developers and enforce Microsoft best practices
Required Experience
8–12 years total IT experience
5+ years hands-on with D365 F&O / AX development
3+ years in a Technical Architect or Senior Developer role
Delivered 3+ full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations
Experience in multi-country (USA/India) environments
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum and large-scale ERP performance tuning
Must-Have Skills
X++ development and D365 extensibility
Azure integrations and services
DevOps (LCS, Azure DevOps)
ERP performance optimization
Experience in onshore/offshore delivery models
Knowledge of regulatory localizations
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Microsoft certifications (MB-300, MB-500, MB-700) preferred

SQL optimization
D365 extensibility (plug-ins, chain-of-command)

Finance modules (GL, AP, AR)
