We serve 500+ customers through a nationwide network of 90+ branches across India, operating across B2B FTL, PTL, warehousing, and supply chain management. We are expanding our in-house engineering team to build modern backend systems that will become the foundation of our next phase of growth.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Architect to design and deliver scalable, reliable and well-engineered logistics systems.
This role will work closely with the business and engineering teams to translate defined workflows and requirements into robust technical architecture and high-quality implementation.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong system design, backend engineering and team guidance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and workflows into scalable technical designs, data models and APIs.
- Define service boundaries, database schemas, event flows, permissions and integration patterns.
- Lead engineers through implementation, breaking down designs into execution plans and reviewing code and architecture decisions.
- Establish engineering best practices for quality, testing, deployment and monitoring.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, data models and API specifications.
- Define and maintain core logistics data models and reusable platform components like authentication, authorization and audit logs.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, data consistency and interoperability across platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 5–10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a System Architecture role, preferably designing large-scale SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
- Strong understanding of database design, APIs, distributed systems and system architecture.
- Experience leading engineers or acting as a technical lead.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, RBAC and audit systems.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of LLMs and machine learning, with an understanding of key concepts and hands-on experience using machine learning tools in a development environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, product-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, ERP or operations platforms.
- Experience in SaaS or product-driven environments.
- Experience with event-driven systems or workflow-based architectures.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and production systems.
