Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pallavaram, involving both technical and non-technical responsibilities in solar plant projects. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting in project planning and coordination, supporting installation and commissioning activities, monitoring plant performance, and documenting operational data. The role also involves collaborating with technical staff and vendors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and supporting maintenance activities and troubleshooting under guidance. Non-technical activities may include preparing reports and presentations, supporting customer communication, and assisting in administrative tasks related to project and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Should possess basic technical knowledge related to electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy systems, preferably with exposure to solar power projects.
- Should possess skills in project coordination, documentation, and reporting to support both technical and non-technical workstreams.
- Should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.
- Should possess problem-solving and analytical skills to assist in performance monitoring, issue identification, and process improvement.
- Should possess proficiency in using common office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, word processing) and basic data handling.
- Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, science, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in solar or energy sector is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pallavaram, follow safety protocols, and adapt to field and office environments.
