Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Technical Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
Linux administration, server management, and DevOps tools . This role involves maintaining system stability, automating processes, and ensuring high availability of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux/Windows servers and VMware environments
- Install, configure, and support DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Vault
- Perform incident management and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Handle server patching, backups, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency
- Monitor system logs and ensure proactive issue resolution
- Manage and support backup solutions (Veritas NetBackup preferred)
- Maintain documentation and provide regular reports
- Ensure compliance with security and best practices
- Support asset and inventory management
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Linux Administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Hands-on with Docker Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Knowledge of VMware / Virtualization
- Experience with Web Servers (Apache, Nginx)
- Database knowledge: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Understanding of network protocols (DNS, HTTPs, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP)
- Experience in backup recovery tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Vault / Security tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Scripting skills (Shell/Python)
- Knowledge of server hardware RAID
Soft Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and handle critical situations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
