Automation Engineer - Delta V

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Automation Engineer with extensive hands-on expertise in DeltaV to support, design, and maintain complex automation systems. This role will serve as a technical leader, owning system architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of control systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Emerson DeltaV DCS systems, including control modules, batch strategies, alarms, and graphics
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, and expansions of DeltaV platforms
• Develop and modify control logic, phase logic, and batch recipes
• Perform system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting across production and utilities systems
• Support validated environments (GMP), including change control, risk assessments, and documentation
• Author and execute IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT/SAT protocols when required
• Provide day-to-day operational support and resolve automation-related production issues
• Collaborate with process, quality, IT, and engineering teams to implement automation solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert for DeltaV
• Ensure compliance with data integrity, cybersecurity, and system access controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Automation, or related field) or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on DeltaV experience in a manufacturing and/or regulated environment.
