DevOps & Cloud engineer - Intern

We're looking for a motivated DevOps & Cloud Operations Intern who's eager to learn the ins and outs of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud operations, and automation. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a basic foundation in Python or JavaScript scripting and a keen interest in cloud technologies. Location: Ahmedabad, India Job Type: Full-time from Office Key Responsibilities: CI/CD Pipeline Assistance: Support the DevOps team in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment processes. Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring: Help monitor cloud resources (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and collaborate on optimization strategies for cost and performance. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Learn to use tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for automating cloud resource provisioning and management. Cloud Operations Support: Assist in day-to-day cloud operations, monitoring health metrics, managing incidents, and participating in troubleshooting efforts. Scripting & Automation: Use Python or JavaScript to create small automation scripts, simplifying routine tasks and enhancing operational efficiency. Documentation: Help maintain documentation on DevOps processes, cloud operations, and troubleshooting steps for better knowledge sharing. Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and discussions, sharing insights and updates in clear, professional English. Qualifications: Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Scripting Knowledge: Familiarity with Python or JavaScript, with a willingness to learn automation techniques. Foundational Cloud Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understanding of DevOps Concepts: Familiar with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and container basics (Docker). Eager to Learn & Adaptable: Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and take initiative in troubleshooting and operational tasks. Strong English Communication Skills: Proven ability to clearly and professionally communicate technical information, both written and verbally, in English. Nice to Have: Exposure to IaC Tools: Basic knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. Cloud Certifications: Foundational cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus. Basic Linux, Networking & Security Awareness: Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
