Role Overview:
We are looking for a Tech Research Script Writer who can deeply research current and future tech careers, high-paying roles, and trending skills, and convert them into engaging, high-retention YouTube scripts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research high-paying tech jobs, trending careers, and future-demand roles (AI, Cybersecurity, Data Science, etc.)
- Identify what’s currently in demand vs what will grow in the next 3–5 years
- Analyze sources like job markets, reports, industry trends, and tech news
- Convert research into engaging YouTube scripts (shorts + long videos)
- Write strong:
- Hooks (first 5 seconds)
- Retention-driven storytelling
- Clear explanations with examples
- Structure scripts for maximum watch time and engagement
- Collaborate with editors/designers for visual cues and flow
- Continuously improve scripts based on YouTube performance (CTR, retention)
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong research skills (Google, reports, trends, job platforms)
- Ability to understand and simplify technical & career-related topics
- Experience in YouTube script writing / content writing
- Understanding of:
- Audience psychology
- Viral content patterns
- Hook + storytelling techniques
Must-Have Skills:
- Scriptwriting for YouTube (Shorts + Long-form)
- Research & data interpretation
- Storytelling & content structuring
- Basic SEO & keyword understanding
- Awareness of tech trends (AI, IT jobs, startups, etc.)
Bonus Skills
- Experience in career/education/tech niche content
- Understanding of Indian & global job market trends
- Ability to suggest video ideas + content strategy
- Basic editing/visual sense (what works on screen)
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
- Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Engineering degrees such as B.Tech, M.Tech, B.E, M.E.
