BASIC JOB SUMMARY:
The Outside Sales Representative’s role is to help connect people and communities by offering best-in-class internet services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers. This role will also involve traveling outside of the market area to pursue expanded sales.

- Serves as a primary driver of new revenue for the Company by actively engaging in prospecting and sales activities
- Acquires new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads and cold calls
- Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Provides knowledge and sells fiber services to customers
- Must develop a deep understanding and stay current on all Company product offerings and align the correct offering with the customer based on their need
- Works with marketing, business development and operational teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and new market expansions
- Tracks sales activity and ensures accurate information is gathered to enable various KPIs and reporting that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments within the Company
- Participates in sales strategies such as marketing campaigns, community events or conferences that result in increasing market share
- Updates activities and customer information daily in the CRM system
- Supports team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned
- Completes all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with department practice, policies, and procedures
- Travel up to 90% should be expected
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Special projects as requested by senior leadership
- Assist the team with outbound sales calls as needed
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Education/Experience – High School Diploma or equivalent required. A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Minimum of 1 (one) to 2 (two) years of door to door sales experience and a willingness to learn and grow required. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language, Spanish is a plus. Engaging interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
