Job Overview
The position-Finance (Treasury & Banking) will oversee day-to-day banking and treasury operations for the VFS Group. Additionally, the role entails ensuring accurate maintenance of records, Treasury reporting, bank charges monitoring and ensuring compliance with treasury policies.
Job Description
Cash and Investment Management
- Preparing Daily Cash Flow / Liquidity Management
- Monitoring the daily inter-bank transactions and fund movements and ensuring timely settlement. Taking quotes for FD placement and placing FD’s
- Analyzing and preparing Global Liquidity related reports
- Preparing Actual and forecasted Cash upstreaming
- Global repatriation tracking and ensuring maximum possible upstreaming always done by all countries.
Treasury Operations
- Implement treasury policies and operational procedures across various locations.
- Closely working with banks and drafting correspondences to Bank
- Submission of various data to banks such as KYC review, Account opening, Account closure and Signatory change
- Bank Charges monitoring
- Regional Treasury operations coordination, review and reporting.
- Facilitate electronic banking services.
Reporting and Reconciliation
- Collation of various banking and treasury information and reporting
- Maintaining database and updating records for Global Bank Guarantees, etc.
- Close co-ordination with regional team to ensure that all reports are timely submitted and databases are correctly maintained. Guiding them wherever required as a Regional SPOC.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure timely preparation and quality Treasury reports.
- Ensure compliance related to treasury activities and overall control, compliance reporting.
Sustainability
- Promote judicious use of natural resources.
- Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.
Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)
- Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.
Education
- Inter Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification
Experience
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Finance, MIS.
