Job Purpose
Managing transactional processing activities of the branch for all Business segments.
The job entails, ensuring, accurate and timely transactions processing, for ail investors within the laid down Standard Operating Process and adhering to Regulatory guidelines. The job also requires liasioning with internal and external stakeholders for providing transactional support.

Job Context
BSL AMC currently has presence in 86 locations, out of which 15 locations are dedicated locations wherein the operational and CS activities are handled separately at the branch level
The job requires handling transactions received by walk in investors and distributors, catering majorly to the retail segment. The job requires to speedily and accurately responding to these transactions by processing them as per the laid down SOPs. On average the job would require to support an investor base of around 35,000 – 40,000 with an AUM of around 1000 – 1500 crores and approximately around 500 distributors. Apart from transaction handling the job also requires carrying out KYC for new customers and actively liasioning with key stake holders for transactional support.
Key challenges –
- Expectation management of key stake holders, without violating the SOP and Regulatory guidelines
- Ensuring Accuracy and timeliness in processing of transaction.
- Banking activity for FMPs
- Keeping oneself updated on the new process and regulatory developments.
- Supporting multiple Business segments, with varied requirements.

KRA1 Transaction acceptance and processing 1.Accepting transactions and processing the same within the laid down SOP’s and regulatory guidelines.
- Reporting all fund flows for timely and proper utilization
- Banking of all payment instruments
- Forwarding of Transactions to registrars and ensuring the accurate processing of the same
- Ensuring error free payouts to investors.
- Ensuring relevant corporate documents and Originals transactions for cases where in transactions are processed based on fax is received and updated.
- Ensuring Non financial transactions are processed accurately within the TAT
KRA2 Ensuring all regulatory guidelines is followed 1.Display of NAV as per the guidelines
- Managing DTSM as per the guidelines and SOP’s
- Ensuring no regulatory deviation in the branch related to transaction processing.
- Supporting QA and internal audit.
KRA3 To liaise with internal and external clients 1.To liaise with Banks, Sales Team and HO on time to time for transaction related activities
- To liaise with Sales / Sales support to clear any issues related to transaction processing.
- To build a strong relationship with service providers/vendors like transfer agents, bankers, courier etc at local level
KRA4 To process KYC Applications received at the branch 1.Accepting and processing of KYC’s within the guidelines
- To reconcile the KYC’s processed and to ensure that No KYC is rejected at the KRA’s end
