Job Purpose
Take responsibility for planning and implementation of CCR-5 Project within budget, timelines and cost with respect to Civil engineering and construction activity. To ensure all statutory compliances, adherence to health, safety, environment norms and quality certification parameters respect to Civil engineering with considering maximum efficiency, modern resources, technology and the processes they support. To continuously upgrade skills of the team and embed a culture of quality, safety and sustainability.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Supporting Actions
Planning
- Execute jobs and activity as per planned resources, for execution of projects with well due risk assessment and mitigation plan, defined scope of work, interface of vendors and Technical Recommendation for materials and services with aspects of projects.
- Preparing project plans for individual jobs requisitioned by the user department.
Operational Excellence
- Supporting Lead Civil for entire day to day Planning, Execution and Monitoring of work
- Implementing mechanical projects as per plan to achieve agreed parameters and delivery timelines
- Monitoring and execution of optimum deployment and utilization of resources (manpower, materials, equipment) during upliftment project execution
- Embedding safety culture through use of PPEs and safe work processes to minimize safety incidents and eliminate accidents.
Budgetary Controls
- Completing projects within budgeted cost by controlling consumption of resources, inventory as well cost of procurement through cross functional collaboration.
- Giving inputs for substitution of costly equipment, technology, service provider without compromising quality and durability.
Compliances
- Implementing compliance with Integrated Management System and HSE norms with respect to mechanical projects
- Preparing documentation for necessary licenses and approvals for execution and commissioning of the upliftment project through submission of relevant documents to the concerned Government departments
- Monitoring and influencing all service providers, vendors and technology suppliers comply with relevant statutory provisions with respect to manpower, equipment, materials and processes they deploy during project execution.
- Enforcing use of PPEs and safe work processes to minimize safety incidents and eliminate accidents and embed safety culture.
Customer Centricity
- Implementing good housekeeping in areas under mechanical, painting of equipment, insulation and structural work as per the project specification.
- Minimizing response time in all internal customer queries with respect to projects.
Sustainability and Systems Improvement
- Driving and participating in 5S, Quality circles, Kaizens.
- Partnering implementation of execution standard for erection, commissioning and maintenance SOP for the equipment.
People Development and Engagement
- Ensuring optimum deployment and productivity of manpower including contractual manpower
- Conducting training to improve technical competence and embed a culture of safety and energy conservation
