Job Purpose
This role is responsible for acting as the single point of liaison for all business matters related to the CEO’s office. The role holder is required to assist the CEO in terms of preparing and providing all forms of reports, documents and inputs that support decision making.

Established in 1994, Birla Sunlife Asset Management Company, (BSLAMC) is a joint venture between Aditya Birla Group and Sunlife Financial Inc., a leading international financial services company in Canada.
BSLAMC is a fund manager for Birla Sunlife Mutual Funds and currently ranks as the fourth largest fund Management houses in India with a total Average AUM base of over INR 1 Lakh 40 Thousand crores (as on Dec 2015). Out of the 42 fund houses in the country, BSLAMC ranked 1st in Fixed Income AUM and 5th in Equity AUM category respectively. As of December 2015, the Average AUM market Share of the organisation was approx 10.2%. The company grew its investor client base by 20% to about 2.42Mn from 2.01Mn from the previous year, thereby bagging a second position in this category.
Distribution Network: BSLAMC has a footprint in 150 locations across the country with approx 45,000 IFAs, 190 National Distributors & 85 banking partnership. BSLAMC also has its offshore presence through its rep offices in Singapore, Dubai & Mauritius. The employees’ strength of BSLAMC is approx. 1000 employees (On rolls and Associates as on Dec 2015). BSLAMC has a customer base of approx. over 2.5 million customers as on Dec 2015 with total gross sales of approx. 8.8 lac crores
BSLAMC offers investors a range of comprehensive investment options, which includes diversified and sector specific equity schemes, hybrid funds and a wide range of debt and treasury products. Its offerings also include Portfolio advisory services for High Net worth individuals as well as offshore funds for Non Resident Indians. There are approx. 176 schemes managed by the organisation as on Dec 2015. - Constantly having a line of sight on industry trends and current business operations is challenging due to the dynamic nature of the industry
- Preparing drafts and communications for the CEO within a short turnaround time with most relevant, accurate and recent information
- Recommending solutions and initiatives for the business to perform better in various regions and maintaining a cordial and constant rapport with all business/functional heads

KRA1 Reporting, MIS and Analysistransformational change o Tracks internal data on company performance to provide concise synopsis to the CEO
- Supports periodical business performance reviews for regions and pan India level with internal stakeholders, shareholders and Group
- Analyzes data to identify key strengths, achievements and gaps for improvement in business performance
Presents analysis to CEO and key functional stakeholders for review
KRA2 Industry updates on potential business opportunities o Tracks industry trends to provide relevant information to the CEO for any potential business opportunities and updates
- Liaises with organisations to seek information on the market trends
- Analyzes this information and makes it available for reference and decisions
Recommends strategies to address any areas of improvement that will facilitate achievement of business objectives
KRA3 New Initiatives o Identifies internal gaps and pitfalls to improve overall business performance by reviewing trends in Finance, IT, customer acquisition and industry regulations
- Recommends new initiatives to be implemented taking into account CEO’s vision on key mandates, for instance, e-commerce focus
Follows up on progress of the new initiatives, for instance, building digital capabilities and provide regular updates to the CEO
KRA4 Communications o Becomes the point of contact for all communication (internal and external) for the CEO on company updates, products, focus areas, strategies, and industry updates
- Drafts speeches for the CEO and write ups on CEO's profile
Co-ordinates with internal team for external interviews and comments
KRA5 Representation of CEO’s Office o Represents CEO's office in internal meetings and presents CEO's view point
- Facilitates decision making on matters that require swift actions
Prepares final drafts to be used by the CEO’s office
