We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Team Manager to lead the sales function for unlisted shares. The role requires strong people management skills, sales strategy development, target achievement, client relationship management, and team performance monitoring.
The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue through the sales team, ensuring proper client handling, building a strong pipeline, and achieving business targets in the unlisted shares segment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team handling unlisted shares.
- Set clear sales targets and ensure regular performance tracking.
- Conduct daily team huddles, review meetings, and one-on-one discussions.
- Monitor individual and team productivity, conversion ratio, and revenue generation.
- Ensure discipline, accountability, and adherence to company processes.
- Support the team in handling complex client discussions and closures.
- Identify training needs and conduct regular coaching sessions.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Drive business growth through client acquisition and relationship management.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of HNI, UHNI, retail, and investor clients.
- Guide the team in generating leads through references, databases, digital platforms, and networking.
- Ensure proper follow-up on leads and conversion opportunities.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and investment opportunities in unlisted shares.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for deal execution and client servicing.
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Address escalations and provide timely resolution to client concerns.
- Ensure proper advisory and guidance is provided to clients on available investment opportunities.
- Maintain regular engagement with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in team handling.
- Prior experience in unlisted shares, stock market, wealth management, PMS, AIF, mutual funds, or financial products preferred.
- Strong understanding of unlisted shares and investment products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to drive targets and manage high-pressure environments
