Accountabilities


  • Operational Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day activities for the Track & Trace workstream.
  • Monitor deliveries as per agreed TAT between DHL, transporters, and customers.
  • Ensure timely collection of POD scan copies from transporters.
  • Maintain smooth operations with no backlog, except in situations beyond DHL’s control.
  • Handle peak volumes and ensure smooth month‑end operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all security and organizational policies.
  • Performance & Process Management
  • Achieve defined KPIs and maintain strict process controls.
  • Follow Operations SOPs, exception handling processes, and all operational guidelines.
  • Ensure proper data backup management and adherence to documentation standards.
  • Continuously identify and recommend process improvements based on customer feedback.
  • People & Team Management
  • Conduct regular team meetings; manage absenteeism and workload distribution.
  • Train, coach, and support team members—including acting as a buddy for new joiners.
  • Build team ownership and encourage continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team productivity and performance daily.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders (business roles) and external stakeholders (functional roles including transporters & customers).
  • Work toward ensuring high customer satisfaction and resolving issues proactively.


Skills/Qualifications

Key Capabilities


  • Strong communication and analytical skills with excellent proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Effective people management abilities.
  • Advantageous to have experience with at least one TMS or ERP system.
  • Deep understanding of transportation operations and customer service processes.
  • Flexibility to work in various shifts based on operational needs.


Expected Experience & Skills


  • 3–5 years of experience in the supply chain or service industry.
  • Good understanding of transport service operations, including truck types, E-way bills, LR/GCN, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of the Indian transport market, network, practices, tariffs, and regulations.
  • Project management skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities (spoken and written English).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems.
