Role Description The Team Leader – Study Abroad is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, responsible for leading a team of education counselors to deliver high-quality consulting services to prospective international students. The role involves supervising daily counseling operations, allocating leads, monitoring application progress, and ensuring that team members follow established processes and service standards. The Team Leader will conduct training and mentoring sessions, review case files, and support counselors in course selection, university shortlisting, and documentation. This role also includes meeting performance targets, preparing regular reports, coordinating with partner institutions, and maintaining strong relationships with learners and their families to ensure a positive and informed decision-making experience.
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams in counseling, customer service, education consulting, or a related field, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and manage performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex study abroad processes clearly and build trust with learners and families.
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission requirements, and visa procedures for destinations such as the UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand etc.
- Prior experience in study abroad consulting or higher education advisory services is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kozhikode and collaborate closely with cross-location teams within the organization.
