Purpose of Position

 Manage the financial aspects of a construction project, from start to

finish. They are responsible for ensuring that projects meet legal and quality

standards, and are completed within budget and schedule.

 The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance

System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group Policy(ies)

Major Responsibilities

  • Overall scope of work. Coordination with Client & contractor’s personnel and equipment to ensure

continuous program of works during execution.

  • Prepare a Draft letters for Authority & EPC(Regarding Contractual) as per Contract Agreement.
  • Ensuring the uploading of MB on time and to get the payment assurance.
  • Collect daily progress reports and distributing to Authority's information and BV Management, and

ensuring prompt action to any matter highlighted in the same.

  • Liaison with staffs/ Contractor’s representatives regarding issues and progress.
  • Liaison with specialized agencies if required with contractor.
  • Liaison between design department for early aaproval of designs and drawings.
  • Liaison with internal departments like planning department, quality control department, plant & machinery

department, safety department, etc. for effective progress.

  • Safety & quality system implementation.
  • Monitoring the program: Planned vs. achievement as per the target.

Note: Team Leader cum Project Manager and at least one of the Key Personnel in the list shall have

experience of handling project planning and monitoring using MS Project/ Prima Vera pr any other

equivalent software of the scheduling and monitoring purpose in addition to the qualification and

Experience Prescribed For The Personnel.

Qualification and Experience

  • Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 20 year

experience in construction industry and well versed in MEPF work of public

building.

OR

  • At least 3 years’ experience in SAG or equivalent Grade and above of Civil

Engineering department of Railways and/or as GM and above in Civil

Engineering department in RITES/IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in

Konkan Railway/MRVC/DFCCIL/ any JVs or SPV with Ministry of Railways,

any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.
