Job Title: Team Lead – US Billing & Invoicing
Location: Pune, India
CTC: Up to ₹12 LPA
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead for US Billing & Invoicing to oversee end-to-end billing operations for our US clients. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in billing processes, team management experience, and a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the US Billing & Invoicing team, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing
- Oversee end-to-end billing cycles including invoice generation, validation, and dispatch
- Ensure compliance with US billing standards, client contracts, and SLAs
- Handle escalations related to billing discrepancies, disputes, and client queries
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality metrics
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and identify process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Accounts Receivable, Finance, and Operations
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency enhancements
- Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and performance insights to management
- Train, mentor, and develop team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in US Billing/Invoicing with at least 1–2 years in a team lead role
- Strong understanding of US billing processes, contracts, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in billing systems/ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling large-volume transactions
- Exposure to automation tools or process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Prior experience working with US clients or in a global delivery environment
