Role Title: Team Lead – Solar O&M Execution (Minimum 3+ years of experience in Solar O&M)
Role Objective: To ensure disciplined daily execution at site by supervising field teams, driving productivity, maintaining quality and safety standards, and achieving daily and weekly project milestones.
Key Outcomes (What Success Looks Like):
- Daily execution targets consistently achieved
- Zero avoidable rework due to quality lapses
- High manpower productivity at site
- No major safety incidents
- Timely reporting of site progress and issues
- Smooth coordination between engineers, contractors, and vendors
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day O&M activities at site (preventive maintenance, breakdown resolution, cleaning, inspections, etc.)
- Lead and monitor supervisors, technicians, and site workforce
- Ensure daily work targets are clearly assigned and achieved
- Track material availability and coordinate with store/site engineers
- Identify execution delays and escalate issues promptly
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and work protocols
- Monitor quality standards and prevent rework
- Maintain daily progress reports and share updates with Operations Lead
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractor teams at site
- Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline
Experience & Capability Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in solar O&M execution
- Hands-on experience in on-ground solar O&M site activities
- Strong understanding of site execution processes
- Ability to manage and discipline field workforce
- Strong troubleshooting ability at site level
- Willingness to stay at site as required
- Strong reporting and coordination skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field
