The operations team lead oversees end-to-end execution of student accommodation bookings, ensuring team adherence to timelines, documentation standards, and SLA compliance. This role will need to lead and support the operations executives, manage escalations, and coordinate with Sales and various stakeholders to drive timely conversions, data accuracy, and reduced cancellations. This role demands demonstrating strong ownership, analytical judgment, proactive risk identification, and clear, transparent communication
Key Responsibilities
- Review & prioritization: Review pending and new bookings, SLA status, ageing cases, and escalations; identify high-risk and priority items for the day.
- Team alignment & task allocation: Conduct a brief team huddle, set daily priorities, and assign bookings based on complexity, capacity, and timelines.
- Operational monitoring: Track end-to-end booking progress in CRM, ensure timely follow-ups, accurate notes, and strict adherence to documentation and proof standards.
- Escalation & stakeholder coordination: Act as first-level escalation for delays or issues; coordinate with Sales, IR, Verification, and Property teams to unblock cases.
- Quality & SLA control: Perform spot checks on bookings for data accuracy, compliance, and SLA adherence; provide real-time coaching and corrective actions.
- Reporting & shift closure: Share EOD updates, ensure follow-ups are scheduled, hand over pending items, and document risks and improvement opportunities.
