Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mysore for a Team Lead – Hospital AR. The Team Lead will oversee a team handling hospital accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-up on claims, resolution of denials, and reduction of outstanding balances. Responsibilities include monitoring daily productivity and quality, assigning and prioritizing work, coaching team members, and conducting performance reviews. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients, analyzing AR trends, preparing reports, and recommending process improvements. The Team Lead will also support training efforts, ensure adherence to payer and compliance guidelines, and help maintain standardized workflows and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in inpatient hospital Accounts Receivable processes, including AR follow-up, denials management, and billing workflows.
- Proven team leadership skills, with experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing high-performing AR or revenue cycle teams.
- Solid analytical and reporting abilities, including proficiency in using spreadsheets and AR tools to track metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members, cross-functional stakeholders, and client representatives.
- Good understanding of US healthcare revenue cycle, payer rules, compliance standards, and basic medical billing terminology.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and maintain high accuracy and attention to details.
- Prior experience in a inpatient hospital RCM as AR team lead or supervisory is must.
