🚀 Exciting Opportunity: Firmware Team Lead – Embedded & Smart Metering.
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 10–15 Years.
We are looking for an experienced Firmware Development Team Lead to drive architecture excellence, development automation, and zero-defect firmware delivery for our Smart Energy Meter platforms.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on firmware architecture standardisation, SDLC discipline, AI-assisted engineering practices, and next-generation communication technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Define and enforce firmware architecture, coding standards & governance.
✔ Lead firmware refactoring for scalability & maintainability.
✔ Drive SDLC best practices, quality gates & compliance.
✔ Implement unit testing frameworks & CI/CD automation pipelines.
✔ Architect DLMS/COSEM protocol stack implementation.
✔ Design & integrate communication technologies: CAT-M1, NB-IoT, 4G/5G, RF Mesh, LoRaWAN, BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi.
Technical Expertise Required:
🔹 Embedded C/C++, RTOS, ARM/DSP/SoC architectures.
🔹 Smart Energy Meter firmware architecture.
🔹 DLMS/COSEM protocol stack.
🔹 Static code analysis, MISRA compliance.
🔹 Unit testing & CI/CD for embedded systems.
🔹 Debugging tools. (JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol sniffers)
🔹 AI-assisted development & code review tools.
