ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Team Lead – Marketplace Performance Marketing to own and scale our presence across Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and quick commerce platforms like Blinkit and Zepto.

This is a marketplace-first role. You will own performance marketing strategy exclusively across these channels — driving revenue, improving visibility, and building a data-driven operating rhythm for the team.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Marketplace Growth

–      Define and own the performance marketing strategy across Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart

–      Own key growth metrics: GMV, ROAS, TACoS, CAC, brand share of search, and revenue contribution per platform

–      Identify and capture new growth opportunities — seasonal events (Big Billion Days, EORS), new platform slots, and emerging quick commerce channels

–      Build the investment case for budget allocation across platforms based on proven unit economics and growth potential


 Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

–      Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketplace marketing team

–      Collaborate closely with the catalogue, creative, supply chain, and analytics teams to ensure ads are backed by great listings and sufficient inventory

–      Act as the key point of contact for leadership on marketplace performance updates and strategy

–      Build a weekly operating rhythm — GMV tracking, ad performance reviews, and listing health dashboards


 Campaign & Channel Management

–      Amazon: Own Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP. Manage TACoS, ACoS, and organic rank as an integrated flywheel

–      Flipkart: Manage PLA, Smart ROI, and Brand campaigns. Optimise for F-Assured badge retention, Search Insights, and event-led performance (Big Billion Days, Big Bachat Days)

–      Myntra: Drive performance across Myntra Ads, Brand Studio, M-Live, and style feeds. Own popularity rank levers — orders velocity, return rate, review acquisition, and hero image CTR

–      Quick commerce: Build and manage ad strategies on Blinkit Ads, Zepto Ads, and Swiggy Instamart. Manage dark store inventory sync, creative formats, and city-level expansion

–      Guide the team on campaign structure, bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and creative testing across all platforms


 Data, Analytics & Optimisation

–      Drive a strong data-driven culture — build a unified cross-platform dashboard (GMV, ROAS/TACoS, return rate, organic rank, inventory cover) that gives a single view of marketplace health

–      Use Amazon Brand Analytics (Search Query Performance, Market Basket, Repeat Purchase), Flipkart Search Insights, and Myntra analytics to inform both ad strategy and listing content

–      Establish attribution frameworks suited to marketplace environments — branded search volume uplift, new-to-brand %, and holdout testing for incrementality

–      Continuously experiment: A/B test creatives, titles, promotional pricing, and deal slot timing


 Budget & Performance Ownership

–      Manage and allocate marketplace marketing budgets across platforms and campaigns

–      Ensure optimal spend utilisation — protect high-ROAS campaigns, cut low-performing spend before it compounds

–      Event planning and budget pre-loading for major sale events — Big Billion Days, EORS, Republic Day Sale, and quick commerce brand days

–      Track contribution margin per platform, not just revenue — flag when GMV growth is being driven by margin erosion

 

REQUIREMENTS

–      3–8+ years of experience in Performance / Digital Marketing, with strong marketplace-specific experience

–      Proven hands-on expertise with Amazon Ads (SP, SB, SD, DSP), Flipkart Ads (PLA, Smart ROI), and Myntra Ads

–      Deep understanding of marketplace-specific metrics: TACoS, ACoS, organic rank, content score, F-Assured eligibility, popularity sort

–      Experience managing quick commerce ad platforms — Blinkit Ads Manager, Zepto Ads — is a strong advantage

–      Strong analytical thinking: comfortable reading Search Query Performance reports, return reason analysis, and cross-platform dashboards

–      Proven experience leading a team and driving performance at scale

–      Excellent stakeholder management and communication — can present data clearly to leadership and work cross-functionally with catalogue, supply chain, and creative


 GOOD TO HAVE

–      Experience scaling D2C brands or high-growth startups on marketplaces

–      Understanding of marketplace SEO — how organic rank is earned and sustained beyond ad spend

–      Exposure to lifecycle marketing and retention strategies that pull marketplace buyers back to D2C for repeat purchase

–      Familiarity with Flipkart Seller Hub, Amazon Seller Central, and Myntra Partner Portal analytics in depth
