Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Team Lead to join our Mushroom Cultivation team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide critical support to the Head of Cultivation in managing mushroom production processes and ensuring the production of high-quality mushrooms. This role includes assisting with trials, managing substrate preparation, monitoring growing rooms, optimizing processes, and ensuring high standards of quality control.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research and Development: Assist in experimental trials for new mushroom strains.
2. Schedule management: Assist in weekly scheduling of cultivation process including adjustment of grow bags in rooms as needed and moving of grow bags.
3. Quality Control: Monitor mushroom growth and quality to identify any issues or contaminations, and report findings to the supervisor. Based on data compilation and analysis, implement action points for growing bags and spawn.
4. Research Support: Assist in research projects related to mushroom cultivation and product development such as optimizing substrate preparation, sterilization, and inoculation procedures
5. Documentation: Prepare reports and summaries of cultivation findings for yield assessment and other regulatory purposes. Also, manage inventory for cultivation supplies, including substrate preparation, spawn prep, and inoculation processes.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor or Master in Biotechnology, or related fields (Agriculture, preferred).
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in mushroom cultivation or similar agricultural roles.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic understanding of mushroom cultivation techniques and processes.
- Proficiency in data recording and process documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively convey findings and observations.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

The candidate will be required to work from the farm, close to Manesar. Transportation will be provided.
