Role Description The Team Lead – MEP is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role oversees MEP design and coordination activities, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services within BIM and CAD environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project schedules, allocating tasks to the engineering team, reviewing and validating designs and models, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues. The Team Lead will guide team members, establish best practices, ensure compliance with local and international standards, and support quality assurance across multiple projects. The role also involves reporting on project progress, identifying risks, and contributing to continuous improvement of workflows and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and related building services disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in Engineering Management and Project Management within MEP or building services projects.
- Proven Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools; experience with BIM platforms (such as Revit or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and local/international codes and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with global clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications in MEP, BIM, or project management (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
- Experience in residential or retail sector projects and familiarity with international construction practices is preferred.
