Job Title: Team Lead – US Billing & Invoicing
Location: Pune, India
CTC: Up to ₹12 LPA
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead for US Billing & Invoicing to oversee end-to-end billing operations for our US clients. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in billing processes, team management experience, and a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Contractual Oversight: Manage the interpretation of complex client contracts, including tiered bill rates, overtime rules, holiday premiums, and shift differentials.
- End to End Billing: Experienced in managing end to end invoice cycle. From Time entry to invoice presentment/ Distribution to relevant parties.
- VMS/MSP Integration: Oversee the reconciliation of timecard data across various Vendor Management Systems (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline) and Managed Service Providers.
- Timesheet Compliance: Ensure 100% accuracy in matching clinician timesheets with facility-approved hours to prevent revenue leakage and credit memos.
- Mailbox Management – Experienced in managing and governing multiple mailboxes
- Team Performance: Set and monitor KPIs focused on billing accuracy, days-to-invoice, and unbilled aging. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide hands-on coaching.
- Dispute Resolution: Lead the team in resolving complex billing discrepancies between facility managers, recruiters, and the payroll department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in US Billing/Invoicing with at least 1–2 years in a team lead role
- Strong understanding of US billing processes, contracts, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in billing systems/ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling large-volume transactions
- Exposure to automation tools or process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Prior experience working with US clients or in a global delivery environment
