Role Description The Team Lead is responsible for guiding a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality learning programs and AI-driven solutions aligned with Skillofy_AI’s mission. This full-time remote role includes overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring effective collaboration between instructors, content creators, and technical staff. The Team Lead will set priorities, monitor progress, and remove blockers to maintain high standards of execution and learner satisfaction. The role also involves mentoring team members, providing constructive feedback, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and offerings. Additionally, the Team Lead will collaborate with leadership to align team goals with business objectives and support strategic initiatives in both tech and non-tech program areas.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team coordination, mentoring, and performance oversight.
- Strong project and program management skills, such as planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience in edtech, talent development, or learning and development, with an understanding of both technical and non-technical skill-building.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with AI, software development, or digital technologies, and comfort working with cross-functional technical teams.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decisions, optimize processes, and improve learner and team outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Education, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience leading distributed or remote teams and working in a fast-evolving startup or innovation-focused environment is a plus.
