We're Hiring | Team Member – Regulatory / Power Purchase
Qualification: MBA (Finance / Power Management) with B.E./B. Tech (EE/EEE)
Experience: 6+ Years (Post MBA)
We are looking for an experienced Team Member – Regulatory / Power Purchase to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in electricity regulatory affairs, tariff filings, and power sector reforms, with hands-on experience working with Power Distribution Utilities/Licensees or State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERCs).
Eligibility Criteria
- Regulatory assignments for Power Distribution Utilities/Licensees, or
- Regulatory assignments with any State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist in filing Tariff Petitions, Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR) petitions, and other regulatory submissions before the SERC.
- Interpret, analyse, and implement regulatory orders, notifications, guidelines, and directions issued by SERCs/CERC.
- Support Distribution Companies (Discoms) in regulatory compliance, data management, and statutory submissions.
- Conduct regulatory impact assessments and recommend strategic approaches for utility operations and financial planning.
- Coordinate with SERCs, power utilities, and government departments for ongoing regulatory assignments.
- Review and develop business models, financial analyses, and policy papers related to power distribution reforms.
- Support public hearings and prepare responses to stakeholder queries and objections.
- Prepare presentations, reports, MIS, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
