Role:
The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing end-to-end cash and position reconciliation activities for syndicated and non-syndicated loan portfolios, with a strong focus on CLO/CDO structures. They manage and review the team's investigations of cash breaks, discrepancies, and exceptions, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. The Team Lead acts as the primary escalation point for Agent Banks, Clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end cash and position reconciliation activities for syndicated and non-syndicated loan portfolios, with a strong focus on CLO/CDO structures. This involves managing the entire process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Manage and review the team's investigations of cash breaks, discrepancies, and exceptions, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. This includes providing guidance, oversight, and support to the team in resolving complex issues
- Act as the primary escalation point for Agent Banks, Clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues. This involves effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Ensure effective utilization of platforms including Solvas, Global Cash Manager (GCM), and GRX for processing and reconciliation oversight. This requires a deep understanding of these platforms and their functionalities
- Maintain strong governance over documentation, investigation records, and audit-ready controls. This involves implementing and enforcing processes and procedures to ensure compliance and auditability
- Ensure all reconciliation and loan processing activities comply with regulatory, operational, and internal policy requirements. This involves staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and policies and ensuring the team adheres to them.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to streamline processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
Criteria:
- Any Graduation
- Overall 5+ years of experience, including 1+ year as a Team Leader managing 5+ FTEs, responsible for performance reviews based on KRAs/KPIs, providing feedback, coaching and mentoring team members and conducting annual appraisals
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using relevant platforms and tools, such as Solvas, Global Cash Manager (GCM), and GRX
