The Role
We're looking for a Team Lead to manage a pod of 4-6 Executives and Senior Executives while owning a portfolio of high-value international clients across accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A. You'll be the bridge between client expectations and team delivery — accountable for quality, timelines, and the growth of the people you lead.
This role is right for someone who's done the hands-on accounting and FP&A work, is ready to lead a small team without losing client ownership, and wants direct access to the partners shaping the firm's direction.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership
- Manage a team of 4-6 L2/L3 members — assign work, review output, develop skills, hold the quality bar
- Mentor and coach team members; conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews
- Identify high performers ready for the next level and actively develop them
Client Ownership
- Own end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of 3-5 international clients
- Be the senior client-facing point of contact — escalations, scope discussions, complex accounting matters
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles across your portfolio
- Review financial statements, MIS reports, and management deliverables before client submission
FP&A & Analytics
- Lead financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning for clients
- Oversee development of management dashboards and BI reports (Power BI, advanced Excel, Google Sheets)
- Translate financial complexity into clear strategic narratives for client leadership
Firm Building
- Partner with founders on team capacity planning, hiring, and process improvement
- Help shape BeeBee's journey to becoming an AI-enabled firm — identifying use cases and championing experiments and implementing new ideas
- Contribute to firm-wide quality, training, and process initiatives
Cross-platform delivery
- Work across cloud accounting platforms (one or more of: QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, Zoho Books, Acumatica)
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com preferred)
- CA / ACCA preferred. Strong semi-qualified candidates with extensive experience also considered (no pending exams)
- 5-7 years of hands-on accounting and FP&A experience, with at least 1-2 years of team management or formal mentoring
- Proven experience handling international clients (US/UK/Canada/EMEA preferred)
- Strong technical depth across bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, close cycles, and FP&A
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools)
- Proficiency in QBO, Xero, NetSuite, or similar cloud platforms — comfortable across multiple tools
- Interest in AI tools and how they can be applied to finance workflows
- Excellent client communication — you can hold difficult conversations and represent BeeBee credibly
- People-first leadership style — you grow your team, not just manage them
- Notice-period flexibility (or short notice) preferred — we're hiring with immediate need

What success looks like at 6 months
Your team is operating as a cohesive pod with strong delivery quality across accounting and FP&A, your clients view you as their trusted senior contact, and you've identified at least one team member ready for the next level.
- Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience and demonstrated capability Location: Janakpuri, New Delhi (Hybrid — 2 days in office) Timings: Monday to Friday, flexible with overlap required for international client calls
